TESTIMONIALS
Heyy, I miss you guys a lot. Thank you for all you have done for me, I couldn’t ask for a better second dad .
Yes, I didn’t consider you as my coach, because, I believe that I wouldn’t be where I am without you and I wouldn’t be who I am without you. Not just as a player, but as a person .
You helped me get here and it’s just so amazing and everything you taught me just keeps helping me grow and go up, but I lovee you soo muchh and thank you for everything!!

Today, we received our strongest basketball test today and we failed the test.
We played against a team that had 15 players and 1 thru 15, was just as strong and even stronger than my best player.
Sometimes, you have to admit that the other team is just stronger, bigger, better skill set, and just a better team.
I am so proud of our young girls as their youth, inexperience, & lack of skills showed that we must trust the process and know that there are brighter days ahead.
We finished 3-1, and made it to the championship game where we ran up against a buzz saw.
We earned our respect by never giving up and hustling through out the game. I am so proud because we learned a valuable lesson today in defeat, but gained so much in knowing that we can get to that level.
We have played in two Florida State Girls Basketball Championships and finished as runner-up in both events.
An accomplishment in itself, to be playing at this level in only 3 months of participating together as a basketball team.
This lets us know that we are headed in the right direction. We are at Disney this week and play for anther Florida State Girls Basketball Championships next weekend.
I am so proud of where we are as we are ahead of our basketball schedule in terms of where we are and we wanted to be at the beginning of the basketball season.
Trusting the process and making measurable basketball goals that are attainable.
Thanks to all our parents, relatives, friends, that are coming out to support our team and encourage our student athletes.
Thanks,
Dynasty Hoops Florida State Girls Basketball Runner-Up

“2022 Rising Stars” Louisville Kentucky
Florida Comets Gold had a very successful experience in Louisville. “We learn how to lose with respect”; we already know how to win with respect.
We learned that if you want to play basketball at this level, conditioning is a MUST; after our last game today, all the girls came home and went to bed. “Before 12:00pm; that goes to show how fatigued we are from this experience. If we had to play another game, we couldn’t anyway.
We learned that we have to play together, & not as individuals, we NEED each other to be successful.
They say, you don’t really get to know someone until you have stayed with them. We learned so much about each other. We became not just team mates, BUT friends as well.
The girls were ABLE to really discuss areas of concern, like “getting in better basketball shape, make better decisions on the floor; better passes, blocking out, take better shots, etc.”.
That is why we are successful because we know what areas we need improvement.
And, we have a whole year to make those improvements, because we are returning next year.
Thanks for all the support you have given us and we know we represented the state of Florida and Florida Comets Gold well.
Thanks,

Florida Comets Gold. 12U/6th grade girls WON their second National Championship in 6 days.
Sunday, “2022 Youth Basketball of America (YBOA) 12U/6th Nationals Girls Basketball Champions”
Thursday, “2022 Disney 12U/6th Girls International Basketball Champions”
We played 4 basketball games one day, 2 games multiple days, so we deserve this rest on Friday.
We are improving right before your eyes; the skills, techniques, & fundamentals that are being taught in practices are beginning to come to light.
It is so rewarding to see their reactions, expressions when they do some of the things you want them to do in the game. “Coach, it works”; that is a wonderful thing to hear; when the light goes on inside of them.
That’s what make teaching (coaching) the best job in the world. For you to shape, mold, challenge young minds to be the best THEY can be.

Tournament Champions 🏆
The Florida Comets played very well this weekend and we hope that it’ll carry over into next weekend “NCAA College Basketball Rising Stars” in Louisville, Kentucky.
The team we played in the championship game was a very determined team and played extremely hard from opening tip-off to the end of the game.
That is all a coach can asked for from his/her team.
All Tournament Player Award: Wyatt Chanda
MVP: Willie Thompson
When you say you are very proud of a group of young ladies, you have to look at this group of Florida Comets.
Florida Comets Gold (5th/6th) grade girls had to compete against 7th/8th girls because there were no 6th grade girls team.
For our young ladies to play against bigger, stronger, faster, & better skilled athletes was really a very good experience.
Please understand, I wanted to win so bad for these young ladies, having the game tied with four minutes remaining. Their strengths begin to take a toll on us as we were outscored 9-2 down the stretch and ended up losing 26-19.
Both teams played excellent defense and that is fantastic at this age.
